The Realme 16 Pro series has received new information before its official launch in India on January 6, 2023. The leak suggests that the company is offering their new smartphones midrange segment with quite noticeable differences between the Realme 16 Pro and the next model 16 Pro+.
As per leakster Paras Guglani, the Realme 16 Pro will likely have a starting price of Rs 31,999 for the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB + 256GB model might cost Rs 33,999, while the premium 12GB + 256GB variant may go for Rs 36,999. The Realme 16 Pro+ has a base price of Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model; the 8GB + 256GB version might be priced at Rs 41,999. The 12GB + 256GB model may even go up to Rs 44,999 at the maximum price.
Moreover, an offline prebooking offer is said to be available. An Rs 7,999 backpack could be given to customers who pre-order the phone in-store. However, it is still uncertain if the online promotion will also be applicable.
Realme has already revealed important specifications for the 16 Pro lineup. A 200MP main camera is going to be present in both the models. The company is declaring to focus on portrait photography rather than sheer megapixel count and has not so far introduced the new system called LumaColor IMAGE that is supposed to enhance color accuracy and maintain natural tones across lighting, which also means a change in the direction of processing images from heavy—previous models.
In terms of design, the firm took the help of industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. The gadgets are going to be made from bio-based silicone materials and are going to have smooth round edges which might eventually make the whole experience of using the phone better ergonomically rather than showcasing it as very aesthetically bright.
The color varieties of the series are comparable to nature such as Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple, which also means that Realme wouldn’t want the design to be seen as a 'show-off' but to be subtle and user-friendly.
